In this episode, I dive deep into an unpopular opinion that I believe every high-achieving entrepreneur needs to hear. Here’s the deal—I’ve got a good life. A great wife, amazing kids, supportive parents, quality friendships, and a growing business. I’m healthy, living in a nice home, in a great town. Life is good, and I recognize that. I’m thankful. And no, I’m not secretly plotting to end it all—there’s no suicidal ideation here.

But when a friend recently asked me if I could pinpoint a moment in the last six months where I felt truly peaceful, grateful, and low-stress, my answer was, “Nope.” And that’s not because I think I have a bad life or that I’m depressed. I’m simply acknowledging a reality that many entrepreneurs with high standards and relentless ambition face—consistent inner peace is not a reasonable expectation.

In this episode, I explore why, if you’re an entrepreneur striving for world-class success, you’re going to wrestle with negative emotions like impatience, frustration, and anger. But here’s the twist—these struggles, these dark drives, are not curses; they’re gifts. They fuel your drive to overachieve, to conquer, and ultimately, to make a greater positive impact on the world.

I also dive into a lesson from my love for comic books, sharing how characters like Wolverine, Batman, and the Hulk harness their inner darkness to become powerful, relentless forces for good. This “dark drive” isn’t something to curse—it's something to embrace and leverage for incredible results.
