In today’s episode, I’m diving into how being a dad has improved my business mindset, teaching me patience and perseverance. Having kids is similar to managing employees—you have to teach them repeatedly and patiently. It’s crucial to consistently invest in them, both at home and in business, to help them grow and succeed.
Recently, a significant event occurred in my life: the birth of my daughter, Camila Valentina Elisa Spinoso. She joins our triplets, Leo, Gio, and Bella, reinforcing my adoration for my little girls. This experience got me thinking about the vital role women play in the success of my businesses. Despite the industry being largely female-centric, many companies fail to embrace women in key roles. This is a huge mistake.
Aggressive women are often unfairly stigmatized. However, a true leader recognizes their value and knows that their aggression can be channeled constructively. Women combining goal orientation, emotional intelligence, and competitive spirit are exceptional assets in any company.
If you’re not actively recruiting high-caliber women for key roles, you’re missing out on significant opportunities for growth and success. My businesses have thrived because of the incredible women in high-level positions, and I strongly recommend other companies to do the same.
Welcome to The Spinoso Podcast hosted by CEO, doctor, comic book geek, and car guy, Alex Spinoso. I help people and companies grow - especially in the medical business. While my experience and expertise is in scaling all types of medical businesses to 7, 8, 9-figures or more, I can be a mentor to anyone who wants to take ownership of their lives, become a better leader at home and at work, and overcome any obstacle that stands in their way.
