At Genesis, ensuring consistency across our multiple locations is a top priority, achieved a meticulous multi-step process. First and foremost, we ground everything in our core values. We invest heavily in instilling these values in our staff, explaining the 'why' and 'how' of what we do right from the start.
Our onboarding process is comprehensive, incorporating both paper and video materials to thoroughly acquaint new hires with our standard operating procedures. This not only covers general responsibilities but also delves into the specifics of each role, typically spanning one to two weeks of focused training.
For brand new clinics, we take the integration process a step further by either relocating new employees temporarily or flying them to our nearest training center clinic. Originally, we only had one such center on the West Coast, but we’ve since expanded to include locations in the Midwest and on the East Coast. This allows new staff to immerse themselves in the operational flow and culture of an established clinic, learning the 'Genesis way' of doing things firsthand.
When it comes to expanding our operations, proximity plays a crucial role. For clinics close to our existing locations, we can easily integrate staff by having them work part-time at our main site or by sending experienced personnel from our current team to lead new locales. This flexibility also enables us to share staff between two different locations, enhancing consistency and cohesion across our growing network. This strategic approach ensures that no matter where a clinic is located, the quality and ethos of our services remain unchanged.
